Nick DiLeonardo
Mechanical Designer

From a young age, Nick knew he wanted to be an engineer. His passion for Legos and Kinex sparked a keen interest in understanding how systems function and fit together. He loved the process of bringing designs from paper to life, transforming concepts into models. This interest pushed Nick to study at Penn State, where he majored in the 5-year Architectural Engineering program. Nick got introduced to electrical, lighting, structural, and mechanical systems used in building design. Ultimately, he chose to focus in the Mechanical HVAC option. Here, he learned how to balance making spaces both practical and comfortable, which has been really a rewarding experience. His love for HVAC design stems from the satisfaction of solving complex challenges and making spaces more livable. It’s a field where he can blend technical expertise with creative thinking to enhance everyday life. Outside of his work life, Nick enjoys playing basketball and ping pong with friends, playing video games, and watching Philly sports teams play.
