Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer

We have an immediate opening for a motivated Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer with experience in plumbing and fire protection systems design. Project work includes the following market sectors: commercial, healthcare, multi-family, retail, industrial, ecclesiastic, and institutional facilities.

Requirements:

• Familiar with the design of domestic water systems, sanitary and storm water systems, medical gas systems, fuel gas systems, water-based fire protection systems, and clean agent systems.

• Working knowledge of IPC, NSPC, UPC, NFPA codes and standards required.

• Preferred candidate should possess an AS, BS or BAE degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, technical school certificate or ASPE plumbing school certificate.

• Candidate should be proficient in current versions of AutoCAD and REVIT.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• CPD a plus but not required

• EIT or recent PE registration a plus but not required.

• LEED or green building experience a plus but not required.
